Emrah was born in 1981 in Eskisehir, Turkey, where he spent his childhood in a small town surrounded by nature. Since he was a child, he had a strong passion for drawing, and in middle school, he was fortunate enough to apprentice under an art class teacher, where he learned the fundamentals of academic drawing and painting techniques. Although his dream was to become an animator, his father encouraged him to study ceramics design. Despite not enjoying his ceramics classes in university, it was there that he stumbled upon tattooing, which quickly became his passion. He attended one of the best art schools, Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, and worked as a resident tattoo artist at one of the city’s most renowned tattoo studios from 2004 to 2011.
Emrah’s style can be described as illustrative, geometrical illusions with fine-line details.
